On-Stream Inspections

• Formulation of piping isometric drawings and stored in AutoCAD
• Assignment of thickness measurement locations (TML’s)
• Inspection ports cut into insulated pipe and inspection plugs installed
• Ultrasonic thickness readings taken at each TML
• Visual inspection of all piping components (valves, flanges etc.)
• Inspection of piping support systems
• Corrosion under insulation determination
• Determination of cracking (environmental, fatigue, creep)
• Inspection for brittle fracture or freeze damage
• Inspection at dead legs, injection points and soil-to-air interfaces
• Determination of corrosion rates, remaining life and retirement dates
• Repair and re-rating of piping systems
